Green Drinks gathering on June 4 to discuss urgent forest threats

Last Updated 6/3/2025Posted in Projects

Can they really do that? And how can we stop them?

At this very moment, our region's public lands and wildlife are under threat like never before. New policies from Washington D.C. are unleashing more fossil fuel drilling, more logging, and more mining across these precious, wild landscapes. Environmental protections are being unravelled at a dizzying pace. Park and forest rangers are being fired, offices are being shuttered, and more layoffs are on the horizon. There's even talk of a mass sell-off of public lands to private developers.

The next free Green Drinks gathering will focus on current situation, as well as what the public can do, with Jeff Kuyper of Los Padres Forest Watch.

NOTE: Special location this month at Sane Living Center. Non-alcoholic drinks will be available.

Sponsored by Pax Environmental, Inc, The Ojai Valley Green Coalition, and Ojai Climate Action Network
