Workshops: Environmental Education for All

The Green Coalition has been a leader in environmental education in the Ojai Valley since its founding, hosting workshops on topics from dark sky lighting to grey water installation. Today, we are building on that legacy with a series of workshops to help residents and visitors alike help make Ojai (and the planet) a better place.

Green Gardening

Green Gardening is a monthly gardening workshop run by educator Erin Harris. The second Saturday of each month, students meet in the Ojai Demonstration Gardens ton explore a new topic.

Tree Planting and Tree Care

In partnership with Ojai Trees, Ojai Valley Green Coalition offers biannual tree planting and tree care workshops, as well as a series of tree walks designed to educate residents about the state of our community forest. Look for these workshops and events on our Green Calendar.
