Serving primarily the Ojai Valley and various other areas of Ventura County.
Although "officially" founded in 2025; Thimble and Seed is the culmination of a lifetime and multiple family generations of connection to the plants and land in the Ojai Valley. Lauren discovered a love of plants and healing herbs in childhood and while that spark took a long time to ignite into a full time herbal business; it was was gently tended to over many long years in the garden, the kitchen, and out in the wide open spaces and natural playgrounds of this magnificent valley. Thimble and Seed is now a space for others to enjoy the wisdom and whimsy of the plant world through playful, inclusive, and accessible offerings and products.
