On Saturday October 25, 2025, the Green Coalition is inviting the community to participate in a day of activities at the City Hall campus, a long-neglected open space with potential to become a natural park, demonstration garden, and learning center. There will be several opportunities to view the land, the plans, and even help the creek.

Schedule of Activities:

8:30 - 11:00 - Middle Stewart Canyon Creek volunteer weeding and clean up project. Registration required.

10:00 - 10:45 - Public tour of 8-acre campus and potential plans. Leaves from in front of City Hall. No registration required.

10:45 - 2:00 - Public drop-in viewing of plans and ideas for creating a community "Eco-Center" nature park, for input and comments. At Kent Hall conference room, on the west side of City Hall.

Registration is required for participation in the creek clean up, but not for the tour and drop-in open house. To register click here
